Be warned children,
For this you should know
This tale isn't pretty
But filled with woe.

Our poor little Batty
Was cursed from day one
By a witch so evil
She could not be outdone.

She put Batty to sleep
For many a year
To only be wakened
By one without fear.

Legend says a Prince,
One strong and bold,
Was destined to wake Batty
From the curses hold
But sometimes folklore
Is slightly misguided
And this is where truth
And fiction collided

Someone found Batty
That is for sure
And he definitely had
A princely allure.

But Princes don't grow fangs
Or live by moonlight,
Or turn into bats,
And fly off in the night.

The saddest of tales,
It's certainly true.
Batty's prince was a Vampire,
And now she is one too.
