In Ancient Egypt
So long ago,
A little old woman
Was lonely and so

She cried out to Isis
In a voice crazed and wild
"I am so melancholy,
please send me a child.

I don't care if it's tiny,
Or even grown wings,
Or if it's cursed,
Or all of those things"

When Isis heard this,
Her heart skipped a beat,
She knew of a girl
Who was Oh! So sweet.

A poor tiny creature
With no one to love
Had just been found
In the heavens above.

So Mumbelina was sent down
To earth right away,
And they both were never
Happier than that day.

They thought as they hugged
"Our lives will never be crummy"
Mumbelina had a mommy
And her mommy had a mummy.
